Linda Ellerbee
Linda Ellerbee (born August 15, 1944) is an American journalist who is most known for several jobs at NBC News, including Washington, D.C. correspondent, and also as host of the Nickelodeon network's ''Nick News with Linda Ellerbee''. Linda Ellerbee is an outspoken American television journalist who spent half her career reporting the news to adults and the other half explaining the news to children. (“It was odd. Somewhere along the way I morphed from this annoying person with an attitude and a microphone into this raggedy-assed Big Bird with a reporter’s notebook.”) An award-winning television producer, writer and anchor, best-selling author and sought-after speaker, Ellerbee’s also a breast cancer survivor, mom, grandmother, and, she points out, one more proud, loud, storytelling, story-loving, nosy Texan.
